Improving on the Box 5 DS, these speakers offer a larger 150mm fibreglass cone woofer to produce more detailed, low-end audio. Together with the 25mm neodymium magnet tweeter, the Box 5 DS2 speakers boast a balanced sound output with crisp mids, a clear treble, and wide sound dispersion for a 3D soundstage.
With the absence of a PCB, the audiophile direct-wired crossover ensures minimal signal interference to produce a clear sound. For further audio enhancement, the Box 5 DS2s feature rear bass-reflex ports to bring exceptional precision to the bass. When it comes to the design, these European-made speakers utilise sophisticated internal bracing and an ultra-stiff non-resonating MDF cabinet to eliminate sound distortion. They even come in various real wood finishes that promise remarkable aesthetic appeal.
