- Over time, dust accumulates on each device, which is the biggest enemy of the turntable and phonograph cartridges and vinyls
- Destroys sound and damages both vinyl and shellac records during playback
- Cleaning the grooves is an effective solution, but the first and most effective step is to cover the turntable with a cover that will protect both the turntable and the cartridge while preventing dust particles from settling on the turntable itself
