The Pro-Ject anti-skating weight is an integral part of the tonearm, used to adjust the tracking force of the stylus. This type of product is used as a replacement element, allowing you to install a new weight on a Pro-Ject turntable (suitable for all models).
Changing the position of the weight, based on the anti-skating scale or the readings of special scales, allows you to create optimal conditions for playing records. Proper adjustment of downforce also affects the durability of the vinyl, extending or shortening its life. The weight of the weight is 3.5 grams, the color is black

The Anti-Skate Weight is attached to a thin fishing wire that hoops onto the rear of most Pro-Ject tonearms and hangs over the Anti-Skate Hoop.
This allows for the perfect amount of counter-drag on the tonearm (all tonearms have a natural side-ways reducing the inclination to ‘skip”skate’.
This is a straight replacement if your anti skating weight is damaged lost.
This weight works with all current Music Turntables, some previous generation Music turntables and some Pro-ject turntables models.
